Hi,

Started to fit my hand guards today, only when I trimmed off the end of the throttle grip to insert the bar-end I found it wasn't a hollow hole.

Instead I found what I assume is the plastic throttle housing body which rotates.

So does anyone know if it is possible drill to open up the end of it and slip the bar-end in?

Or is it likely to turn not a can of worms?

Thanks

Would think its just the end of your throttle tube. Why not undo the switch gear and take a proper look!

As above - pretty sure it's just the end of the throttle tube.

Get the throttle tube off completely anyway to be sure and to make sure what's behind it is ok.

If your fitting guards then you don't need the end of the tube, so either drill it or cut it off.

Cheers
