When you say starts, do you mean:

1) Starting the bike and then riding it to where you want to go
or
2) Starting the bike, stopping the engine and then starting it again

Ever considered the battery could be screwed, you could also have something earthing which kills the battery.

Get the bike started, check the voltage over the battery with a multimeter. You ideally want over 14v.

Your batteries won't be the problem here then, you're looking at two potential issues:
- not charging
- short somewhere causing battery to discharge

Both of these issues can destroy batteries, so it's essential that you fix it to stop having to purchase batteries.

First of all, fully charge your battery, start your bike, put a multimeter over the battery and rev the engine to 4-5k. If the reading is 13v+ then it's okay. 12.5v... meeh not too bad.

Doing the above, what reading do you get?

I'd put money on a faulty reg/rec.. Has a similar problem a while back.

You can't tell without diagnosing it.

I had the same problem but my issue was inside the wiring loom meaning that I had to wire the reg/rec directly in to the battery.

A dodgy starter motor or solenoid won't discharge the battery overnight.

A fault reg/rec is the most likely problem. What bike is it?
