 Posted: 09:36 - 03 Jan 2013 Post subject: Lexmoto XTRS 125 - Rev Counter Not Working |
 |
|
Hey I recently bought a Lexmoto XTRS 125 on a 61 plate, I was beinging it back from Bury, my first ride since passing my CBT last year! I was wondering if you could help me out with something:
The rev counter, it likes to flicker at the higher end RPM but anything else doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure how to fix this, I think it runs off the crank? I can't seem to see anything around.
Many Thanks,
Ron ____________________ Treat it right, and it will last you for ever.

It's ran off the crank, we checked, is there any fix for the clock or is it a new one in order?
(We took it out from the back of the dial, it spins freely, also I can't get anymore pics as it's not at my house ) ____________________ Treat it right, and it will last you for ever.

Yup, definitely check the cable first. Free it at both ends, and make sure it's contiguous - it could be snapped internally and dragging the top end round some of the time - my GPz305 did that. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
