Rolling Eyes

Sold the Ninja, polish guy offered to come view it.

Said he was busy "send my friend to look" so he looked, paid and took it to his van.

He checked frame numbers, went over the bike and said "ok yeah, take it!"

Today I get

Today morning bike come to me, and I'm not really happy. I ask you two times about frame, and what I see!!
Frame is heavy bent, I dont know why you and yours mechanic not see, probobly you see but not tell me.
I pay over 100 pounds for delivery to my country, but I'm desperate and I like pay another 100pounds for delivery back to you, becouse I like give you back this scrap bike.

Then when I say, no... the frame is fine. It left me fine, what is your issue?

Dat Pole Again wrote:
Frame is NOT straight. Is heavy bent, if you not trust me, I can send pictures to you( please send email adres) On this moment I got another kawasaki and I show you.
Any way, I got lots of troubles now. Also you know why numbers on frame is not correct. I'm sure numbers been tampered and somebody put new numbers,
is not really troubles becouse is correct with numbers on v5c. But 100% is not orginal kawasaki numbers, belive me.
Engine works fine,

Now, I know the numbers are fine.
I also know the frame is fine, subframe was straightened, but frame is perfectly fine.

I've basically said there are no returns, you checked, you paid. End of.

What happens if he decides to go all Bruce Lee?

I'd ask for the photos just out of curiosity, and then mention i'll send my mate around who's in the local polish police force to have a look and get back to you...call his bluff.

Deffo pulling a fast one, trying to get you to refund him some money so he gets the bike cheaper. People try this all the time. Wankers.

He's trying to fob you off mate...

Sold as seen, no more, no less.

If he didn't see it for himself, it's his issue with whoever he gave executive responsibility to for deciding to buy and collect it.

Whatever you do don't give him any money or try to let him return it, hear a lot of this, particularly with vehicles that are exported... they try to get refunds through ebay effectively leaving you robbed of both the item with no money

i don't believe ebay protection extends to vehicles anyway. the owness is on the buyer to thoroughly check the vehicle before handing over money.

If he paid by cash which is likey, or even bank transfer it's impossible for him to get any money back no matter what he cries to ebay. Ebay isn't authorised to take money out of your bank account.

Stick to your guns and tell him to do one.
He sent a representative who inspected the buy and confirmed the sale on his behalf.
Should be end of story.
I assume he didn't pay you via Paypal?

No-one would take paypal for a vehicle. The fees are astronomical.

How did you sell it? Auction or classified?

How did he pay? Paypal or other?

c-m wrote:

Even if he did pay by paypal, If you don't have a DD or anything like that setup with them, there is nothing that they can do. Other than send you a strongly worded letter.

If he didn't have a DD or credit card link how is he supposed to get the money out of Paypal?

In other words he has a bent frame and wanted a straight one, so he bought yours, doctored the frame numbers and wants to send back his old shit.

If he paid cash, just tell him to fuck off then ignore him.
Some cunt purchased an exhaust from me, he came and paid cash on collection. Let him hold it and check the condition, he was happy and paid.

Few days later he calls me saying he's unhappy with the condition and it isnt 'good condition' as i listed it.
He opened a case on Ebay, in the end the case was closed and Ebay sided with him (always side with buyer for some reason), but because he paid with cash, he didnt get any money back.

tell him if he does not like the bike, he should learn to teach his 'friend' what to look for, and how to strap up bikes to avoid damage in transit.

If the the bike is not what he wanted, he should complain to his 'friend' for not checking it over properly.

If you sold as seen then tell him to jog on.
Sold my Ninja to a polish guy, who had a friend pick the bike up - I had hand written sold as seen, which his friend signed for.
