Well, that's it...
Insurance runs out tomorrow on the Honda CG - named it Hayabusa
...plus it means the end of riding 125cc bikes for a good few years. The Hornet is sitting in my kitchen being prepared for it's first MOT in 2 years.
It's a fantastic little bike, couldn't say more. The petrol can is the delivery of more fresh fuel for the Hornet. I'll miss it!

I know - this thing did about 180 ish miles before I have to fill up again, so about £14 a tank!
The speed really does piss me off - can't wait to get on the Hornet  ____________________ My Bikes: Lifan Beat 125cc '11 -> Suzuki B120P '76 -> Suzuki EN 125-2A '08 -> Honda CG 125 '04 -> Honda CB600F Hornet '98 -> Kawasaki ZZR 600 '99 -> Kawasaki GPZ 500S '95 (Current)

I had one too but I don't miss it.
I learned to ride on it passed my test on it and then sold it, I had it for 3 months.
The petrol consumption was amazing, road tax was basically free.
However there was no trip meter, there was some stupid tap that you had to turn, to turn the fuel on and off, there was no storage and it was bloody slow.
I do remember fondly back to one journey where I did about 80 miles, where I always think I learned to ride. At the start of the journey I was not leaning, by the end I had mastered leaning, this was on some lovely NSL twisty roads in North Yorks, basically the road from Skipton to Harrogate.
One thing I miss about the cg was the part prices, they were sooo cheap.
Like other posters I also managed to sell mine for more than I paid for it.
My 33bhp Er5 felt like a rocket after passing my test. ____________________ I've a twin and a 4. |

I used to love my old CG, it's still in the family so I can ride it when I want to.
Slow as hell though. ____________________ Full Licence acquired December 2011.
