I passed my CBT in October last year and am now just waiting for the nicer weather to come along so I can get out there again. My husband suggested I say hello and get some feedback as theres not many girl bikers out there, that I know off anyway. Very Happy

Welcome to the forum, there is some other female riders here on the forum who i'm sure will make you feel welcome and prepare you for the usual leg pulling, we are all a friendly bunch though, what bike have you got? stick a picture up, are you planning on getting your licence in the better weather or staying on your cbt a while?, theres plenty of us in the London area so help / advice and meet ups always possible.

Thanks for the welcome. I've added a profile picture. Currently riding my husbands CBF125, he is going to get a bigger bike maybe in the springtime so Phoebe will probably be mine by then. I hadn't planned on taking any more tests but who knows, it might be nice to get the L plates off.

Welcome to the forum. The CBF looks like a nice bike, enjoy it for as long as you like. I was perfectly happy on a 125 for a year before I got licensed up. Just don't ride anything bigger, you'll have "performance issues" when you go back to the 125. Wink

There are plenty of ladies here, although they don't tend to frequent New Bikers so much. Anyway, some of them will along to say hi after they've made the dinner and darned the socks.

Good evening and welcome to this thriving bike community wherein there is much debate about whether to rename the message boards Bike Chav Forums.

Hi, nice to hear from another girl. Biking seems to be a very male thing to do but I really like it.

Really?
I don't think you're looking hard enough...there's loads... do a google search and you'll find lots of groups (aimed specifically at female only), such as:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/suswow/ (south east women bikers - 220 members suggests a handful in this area alone Wink )
https://www.bikegirl.co.uk/
https://www.curvyriders.co.uk/

And here too, if you check out a few posts... Mr. Green Thumbs Up

I really like the idea of the bacon, but the lettuce would go soggy next to hot food so the green has to go. Smile
