I have used blu-tac before now, but the LEDs can whizz off if you go too fast. Super glu is better but then if you want to whip them off later there's sometimes bits of dried glue where they were - which is hard to get off. Try soldering them on?

i wouldnt bother mate the only way you could really do it is to mount a battery to and all you will end up doing is throwing the wheel out of balance and killing yourself when the bike goes crazy at speed.

dont be tempted by the tyre fly leds on ebay either. Seen a nicely ripped of valve on an r6 after he fitted a set and went slightly over the speed limit lol he got lucky and the back went before the front.

I've thought about this before - as I was generally trying to make my bike more visible.

There's plenty of things for push bikes.

Have wondered about a couple of motor brushes to transfer power - but that's taking it a bit too far I suspect.

The reflector thangs on push bikes only relfect when hit from the side. Not much use when a drunken Polish trucker is bearing down on your arse. Smile

Things have moved on a bit since then.

They also don't make the frames out of stone any more Razz.

However, yes - it would have been part of an entire lighting project - I already had extra lights on muffs and extra lights on the rear. Plan was to have various lights on the fairings too - on the basis that patterns of lower power lights should give people a better idea of where a bike is rather than a point light source which can be blinding and makes it hard to work out the vector of the vehicle.

I never got around to putting it on the bike, but this sort of stuff:

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
