What's your specific problem?
He's unlikely to have comp insurance on his WingWang to begin with.
If he bins it into a 3rd party, they'll get their compo and he's at risk of being sued by the insurer.
In any case though, it's just a risk factor, it's not some special magical cover. The risk is really down to the mileage, not the type of use - any WingWing is going to be caned around urban areas, right?
Seems a bit "Well I never!" handbag clutching to me. Red tape helps nobody except tape-makers. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I live in a wiltshire village which is home to the wilts plod headquarters.
The population of this town is 11000. The facebook group has 6600 members !!!
I'm glad i put him off as the twat does not realise that plod would be watching his every move.
His stupidity was there for all and sundry to see. | You mean you didn't give it?
Who cares if he get's caught doing something, he knowingly took the risk and is probably inboxing people about it now instead. Well done.
I sympathise for the likes of Marm, but some kid scuttling about the odd errand on his moped in his town isn't putting any serious couriers out of business.
He surely pays 'some' insurance to be on the road?, there are thousands that evade that on its own and without people thinking outside the box, cheating the corrupt system - are we to get any further in life without said system screwing us over evermore?
It's comparable to paying Jim down the road £5 a time for window cleaning knowing he won't declare it - but it's ok for MP's to do it on a mass scale?
Yep. ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. Get some better happy pills, hit the gym & buy a medallion the size of a dinner plate. Job done |

I've never done anything of the sort...
But yeah food delivery is pretty good if your young - and if you can get a job in a reputable store they usually provide the bike.
But I can tell you that most of the kebab/indian/chinese drivers aint that insured haha ____________________ "Calamity - A more than commonly plain & unmistakable reminder that the affairs of this life are not of our own ordering."

I used a borrowed moped to do a multidrop route round medway on more than one occasion.
I also did it on a YBR, and a GS500.
Without proper insurance, luggage, required spill kits etc for medical shit. Blah.
For some of us its the only way of earning a living, and we dont make a good one at that. If i had the required insurance etc i'd be running at a loss. I have to work evenings at domino's delivering pizza's as its iust not paying at the moment, and they can only offer me 2-3 hours, 3x a week.
Personally i'd view it as such; its none of your buisness how anyone else earns their cash, so zip it. You'd only be whinging if they were on the dole
I pay all my taxes, however the way it works out at the moment i made just under 4k of profit last year & am set to pull about the same this year. My expenses are so damn high on fuel bills that it actually balances out what i owe in tax. I have to sit and do all the paperwork myself as i cant afford an accountant.
By all means if anyone knows anywhere in kent i can work legit then i'd do it. But as it sits, its this or JSA.
My 2p's worth from somebody who's not got it all lovely & secure at the moment... ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
