Ebike quoted me £800 for all of my bikes or £971 for my CBR alone. |

How old are the bikes?
I ask as for my 90s registration bikes I had a policy with Carole Nash that wasn't too bad. On renewal shopped around and got one with Footman James who specialise in older machines.
Only downside is they don't recognise no claims discount you've built up. So am looking to insure another bike cheaply to maintain that.
On both I've found it easier to get on the phone to a real person rather than their web quotes.
Rogerborg also told me about eBike Insurance and also The Bike Insurer.
Insured my lad's bike through Carole Nash's online only site Just Motorcycle Insurance but not sure if they do multi-bike like the grown-up Carole Nash does.
Let us know what you find. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

I insured my CB500 TPFT for £295 with Just Motorcycle Insurance (first bike so no NCD and they were cheapest) about 7 months ago.
I bought a bargain DT125R last week to piss about with, called them up and they offered me a seperate policy of TPFT for a year at £105.
Not sure if I'd have got a better deal by shopping around for a multibike policy though as I pretty much bit their hand off ____________________ Previous Bikes: 2006 Honda XR125L > 2003 Yamaha DT125R > 1996 Honda CB500

Carole Nash was the best I have had if you came to change bikes on the policy. Just £25 to add a bike. They became horrendously expensive for e for some reason though.
MCE are as cheap as anything as long as you do NOT alter your policy. My Tiger was £270 ish on it's own FC and with my cheap & cheerful Fazer on a new policy was exactly the same. However when I changed bikes halfway through the year it cost me a shed load so don't use them if you change bikes like underwear. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

Someone on here recommended Tiger on another thread a while back.
No idea what they're like but when I spoke to them for a quote for zzr1100 and well modded cbr900rr they said they'd do them for £260, give or take a few quid, salesman did say that if it had been one biggie and one titchy commuter it'd be pricier because of the way they put together policies. ____________________ Make mine a Corona. |
