I'd bled using one and see how it felt. If it still felt spongy, bleed from the other nipple too.

This is how Id do it, front or rear brakes. Requires two people for about 5 minutes. No fucking around with bleeding afterwards.

Reverse fill from one bleed nipple using a large (50ml or larger) syringe. Crack the other nipple open while filling to expel any trapped old fluid using a hose into a jar, or floor - wont be much.. While filling* crack open the master cylinder banjo while also pressing lightly on the brake pedal to expel any air** and you will have a perfect, air-free brake.

*this should all be done on the same, continuous stroke of large syringe.

** note its done up to 34Nm, you will want to loosen it off before hand and tighten it up again afterwards, ideally putting new washers in before starting.

Front brake is the same except you crack nipples open while doing the second side for a dual system.

I have the same setup on the back brake of both my R1 and my Exup. They are twin piston calipers and so you should bleed both sides.Whichever is the easiest to access bleed first, then do the other.

Just snapped the bleed nipple mount off, brake fluid leaking evreywhere.

Dont know what happend connected my brake bleeding kit, topped up the fluid and open the bleed nipple.

Started pumping the brake i immediatly noticed fluid dripping from my caliper so cleaned it up, it contiuned to happen so i thought il stop and tighten the bleed nipple.

I tried to tighten it and it just wouldnt tighten and then the bleed nipple snapped off so its destroyed the caliper now so its useless now and its £375 for a new rear caliper...dont know why i bother

That's recoverable. You can try an easy out on the part of the nipple that remains or, if the broken section protrudes sufficiently, you might be able to get hold of it with a pair of molegrips or similar.

Failing that, it can be drilled out and either helicoiled or re-tapped.

Kawa dont make the brake caliper, it will be made by somone else and probably used on many bikes, as its a rear brake. Does it have a part number stamped on it?

Find a microfishe to get the part number, find where its used, gives a lot more choice. For honda this is easy, but I had a look on ronayers, cant find your bike

This has dual nipples

Try this site https://www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-zx400_model12783/

If all else fails, take the caliper to an engineering firm.

Fill reservoir, pump a few times, hold lever down, crack bleed nipple, close nipple, release lever, repeat.

That's what I did on my rear brake when I fitted braided lines and it bled pretty much straight away!
