Back in 2007 I when I bought my SR 125 I paid £650 (ebay) for:

1998
Years MOT and Tax
14k miles
Very tidy visually

Got it home and after adjusting tappets and camchain was all good to go. I passed my test on it, then a few years later sold it to my sister who passed her test on it, and rode it for her 33bhp 2 years. All in all a wicked bike for the 650 quid.

Just been looking on ebay and there doesn't seem to be many bikes under a grand at all. Not many 90s 125's it seems, everything seems to be chinese shit or 2007+ YBRs, CBFs etc etc for around a grand.

On the other side of that situation I've been trying to sell an RXS 100 for 500ish since Nov, new fork seals c&s, brakes, suspension new seat cover and a fresh MOT. Loads of stupid texts but no-one shows up. It's not as though there's that much out there. Whats going on?

No, you go make sure it's not a bag of shit before you bid. That way the seller doesn't have to pay to relist after you decide you don't want it.

Don't be That Guy. An eBay auction is an invitation to view the bike and make a cash offer. Don't kid yourself otherwise.

I am hoping to sell my Brazil CG for what I paid (£600). If I can get that or a little more I'd be happy. It won't be for sale until September though so we'll see then, it will have 9-10 months of tax and MOT on it by then as well.
