2007 cg125 drinks oil

My cg seems to be drinking a lot of oil what could cause this and what can I do to fix it

Nope no smoke out the exhaust

causes:

1) Its leaking out onto road. Clean engine, look for fresh leaks.

2) Its getting sucked through the breather into air intake. Have a look, see if engine oil is coating filter or throttle body.

3) getting past valve seals. Usually a very small amount.

4) piston rings. Being the most expensive - you can get new cylinder/piston kits for £70, or just new rings and a hone for less, or even another engine they go cheap on ebay sometimes.

4 usually only happens at high RPM or when starting from cold. Significant amoount will give clouds of smoke.

Keep her topped up and she will still run forever.

However, its still a shit bike. Pass your test, get a proper one
