Banjo bolts are more than likely to specialised for a standard company to stock.

Sandpaper should not be required for you bike, leave it alone.

I like that new nut.

Brake banjos and banjo bolts are automotive specific, so I'd go to a motorcycle shop and buy one if I were you.

There are normally two different thread pitches available, so check which one fits your calliper before buying.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Just order the specific bolts from a Daelim specific dealer.

Invest in a thread pitch gauge if you are going to be replacing bolts, they cost about £2. If a bolt/nut is the correct width but won screw on, the pitch isn't right.

Use a washer on the axle nut?

That's cos it's German, the metal in it is prolly stronger than the rest of your bike put together.

Ordered one. I don't think it is the correct width it drops right down the axle I have a washer yes.

The axle is Daelim quality unsure of the grade but it is a quality part Korean not Chinese.

Ah I get ya, I thought you meant the nut falls into a recess on the swingarm. If it slips over the threads and down the axle, it is definitely not the correct size.

The grade 8.8 thing I mentioned is a standard used to test bolts/nuts for strength. A cheap mild/stainless steel nut could strip and snap if torqued down hard enough for an axle, a grade 8.8+ will handle the tightness. I wouldn't worry about the axle, but it is worth buying a half decent nut.
