Right, thats it, I can't take so many posts about so many off us crashing, so, no more.

We all must make a pact not to crash anymore, the forum curse has gone ape sh1t and we must fight back before someone gets seriously hurt.

You must pledge not to crash by posting here Razz

'I (state your name) do solomley delclare that I will not bail regardless of bad driving, riding like a tw*t and weather conditions etc. I will stay on the bike, with the rubber side down. The curse can suck my d1ck' Razz

F*ck the curse 'cause the curse f*cked me

Did anyone else look at the topic above this one to see a crash thread posted under 10 minutes after this was?

Please don't jinks us with anti-crash threads!

I am starting to think that BCF stands for Bike Crash Forums. I've probably just cursed myself by saying that, so will have to be extra careful this afternoon.

Hehe, dead on mrchips. Confused If I said that it'd just be asking for something slippery on the road to catch me out or some dumb mum driving her kids to school to take me out in the morning.

Its not only here though....

I go on another forum and there is at least one crash a month. Last month, a chap we knew from croydon, was in a fatal.

Its enough for you to seriously re evaluate riding on the road.

So yeh, the less I hear about it, the better!

It's not enough for me to re-evaluate it. The only things which would make me re-evaluate riding on the road would be if there was something stopping me like a riding induced disability. Even then, I'm sure I could get a trike or something altered so I could use it.

People crash all the time. People die all the time. I know this, so being told about it isn't going to make any difference to me. I might perhaps weigh up riding if a family member was killed on their bike, but I doubt I'd stop even then.

I'm not going to venture towards making a pact as that'd just be tempting fate. I rode about 60 miles today, through the icy wastes of Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. There were some dreadful roads, things like gravel going all the way around hairpins and mud having been strewn all over blind corners.

The most amusing/ worrying thing was the speedbump someone had oh so carefully placed within 10 feet of a NSL sign. Just as you've got the power on, you realise there's a hump in the road and have to jam the brakes on or jump it. Mr. Green

I, Babyyam, do solemnly swear that as I am a girly wimp my bike is now tucked up nice & warm in the shed with a good coating of WD40, there to stay til the weather gets better.....

......well, except to do a couple of toy runs. And a couple of rideouts with mates or my other half. And just a quick blat about when it's not actually raining and I'm not at work. Oh and the rally ( Shocked ) I'm due to go to next weekend.

Hmmm. Thinking

I Babyyam do solemnly swear that I will just be dead careful when I'm out on my bike, and try my hardest not to drop it or crash it!
