Here it is! Sorry for the fading light pictures.

After a couple of false starts, I ended up with this and I'm chuffed. It's a '56 plate ER6-F with Rear hugger, TopBox & Rack, Kawasaki Crash Bungs and Power Commander (whatever that is), Datatool S4 Red alarm. Done just over 18K and I picked it up for £1900. Amazing, I love it!

Good man.! Very Happy

Bet you are chuffed eh.?

Have fun and go steady to begin with. - Don't let your (understandable) enthusiasm get in the way of checking the rascal over properly and getting to know yours and the bikes comfort zone.

Have fun, Nick Very Happy

Appreciate that and yes on a long ride from Walthamstow to Croydon through city of London I really got to know it. Really easy to ride. Just pottles round town 3-4K and when there is an open bit it's just off.

Taking it nice and steady, with a couple of grin moments.

Also, the chain IS slack. Getting that sorted, not really bad, but bad enough to need doing ASAP.

Got loads of paperwork sifting through, including HEL brakeline for the front Very Happy and Power Commander software. I'm guessing the HEL was fitted as one of the comments at the 4K service was "The customer states the brakes aren't very good" Shocked

Congrats on the new machine, glad that you found the right one for you! Thumbs Up

Bet you are chuffed to bits! Very Happy

As others have said, do take it easy for a while, but do enjoy it at the same time!

Thanks, I was going to get back to your PM, still grinning and only just got in. I've had two missed opportunities and this bike is just brilliant.

Very nice. Thumbs Up

I was gonna mention something about the topbox not suiting the lines of the bike, but I don't want to ruin your moment!

Sadly kind of essential, but you are right.

If the top box was any bigger, you could keep your bike in it! Nice looking bike, my mate has an ER6-N, gets 70+mpg commuting.

Top box that came with it was a standard Kawasaki (re-badged Givi) and appropriate rack. The top box on there is my big one (hence it looks silly), BUT it has the comfort pad on and I'd just taken my wife for a spin.

I'm going to alternate between 125 and that (for now) to commute, as the 125 is so cheap to run, but my laptop and the rest of my gear fit in that bigger box. Hence it's kind of essential. It did however come with the standard grab rails and the original handlebar. The one on there now looks like it's supposed to make the bike look like it has clip-ons if that makes sense. I don't like the position currently, so I'm going to swap it back to the original at the weekend. The heated grips aren't working currently, I'll either fix or replace at the same time as I've got a spare brand new set.

If it had been the naked I would've agreed with you about the bars, but the clip-on look, for me, works so much better with a faired bike (I'm talking lines again aren't I?), but hey, she's your baby, you can dress her how you like!

It's a leap too far at the minute, not used to the riding position, so I'm going back to stock and then may revert to the clip-on look bars later. Bolt upright CBF125 to the current setup is a big difference.

Had a brief blast on the open part of the A3, a lot of fun and very stable but actually made me realise what I've got and how I need to take care. The road from my house, although a bus route has a new pothole/crack every week. It just doesn't skip or get unsettled like the little bike does. The scooter shatters your teeth!

Couple of pics, slightly brighter. Also WTF has someone done to this screen, it does have a crack which I can see one colour film would be a bodge, but it's horrid. Literally strips of mirror limo tint. I'm going to replace the screen ASAP. New bobbins, fender extender and service bits already ordered. Hoping it's the same plugs as the ones I bought for the SV, I've got 4 brand new Iridium ones (I got sent 4 by mistake, but paid for2).

Very nice bike. I did DAS training on one of those, and I really like it. Had some good poke, a million percent better than the ER-5!
