No planning permission and the hand of the WAG stirring the pot. A provisional date of 2115 might be nearer the mark.

planning application has been submitted and they are serious about doing it, I doubt that they will get refused planning permission because where it is going to be built.

It is being built in Ebbw Vale, I dislike riding my bike near there incase they pinch shit whilst I am riding, the area is so poor they can't even afford a milk float, last time I was up there, their milk float was a Mk4 Transit with the sides tin snipped out, 4" all the way around leaving the roof, B and C piller....best bit, apart from it having no sides and bulkhead, they left the rear doors on and padlocked them.....you could walk through the van, that is hte mentality there.

Now what makes it worse, it is just above the Rassau estate, they will have stolen your car, sold it to someone else, it will then be stolen once more and stripped for bits whilst you are still driving, I once saw a man going fishing at a pond around the Rassau, who put wheel clamp, handbrake gear lever crook lock, steering lock on and chained them together, then applied camo face paint to go fishing and keep an eye on his car.

They will want it up there because of the money, that said if you do go there, I suggest you encase your bike in concrete and drill it to the floor, then chain it to everything else in the car park. Thumbs Up

Nothing but despair and hopelessness in Ebbw.

I bought my CBR from someone in the Rassau estate, Ebbw Vale...

The real owner hasn't come for it yet, so they must have forgotten about it Thumbs Up.

I seriously doubt anything will come of these plans, the motogp riders will be ok, but can you imagine what the bridge toll would be for an F1 car?

Reckon they're low enough to not need to stop for the barriers.

Ebbw Vale because they're already building the Cardiff Airport replacement in the Gurnos?

My bedroom looks across on to the gurnos, its such a pretty sight in the summer with all the grass fires and police bombing back and forth.

I spoke to the guy who monitors the cameras for Ebbw Vale town centre. He said when they first installed them, they spent 3 months arresting people pretty much every night for fighting. Now everyone has wised up. They fight in the side streets.

Ebbw Vale is a shithole. But does that matter?
