What was in in with the mechanic for? I ask because Mr Yaigi's bike stopped working 5 mins down the road after he picked it up once - turns out when they had the tank off they had squashed a fuel pipe putting it back on, so whilst it was showing a full tank, it was behaving as though it was empty.

He said that it was working fine after the mechanic sorted out the cylinder disc problem but since he's been upstairs to sleep, the ignition just sings like a stupid bird and refuses to start. Oh and the mechanic is bitching and ignoring him.
What was difficult about understanding that?

Maybe I'm just being pedantic with grammar today but "no it worked as a full" didn't make any sense to me... I'll shut up Razz

It would show a full tank even if the hose was squashed. My question was not "Was the tank full or empty?" Ok, lets start again:

1) Did the mechanic at any point have the tank off the bike for any reason?

Is the engine actually turning over or is the starter motor just spinning?

Where are you from?

OK - I would suggest then that it might be an idea to check one of the fuel hoses is not trapped. How many miles did you ride it back from the mechanic? I ask because if it was a long way then this may not be the problem, but if it was only a short way there may have been enough fuel in the trapped hose to get you home.

Can't you guys see the engine piston disk is not spinning in the correct correlation.

Jeez even an amateur could figure that one out.

Just re dump the tank line into the feed of the carburettor to allow for the trollet system to work.
