 |
|
Hey everyone.
Ive been on this forum for a few months but this is my first post; and im after some advice
I was looking at CBR's the other night on Ebay and i came across the 2003 CBR 600 RR for only £1600......i emailed and asked why it was so cheap or if i mis-understood what exactly he was selling Auction ended anyway....no buyers.....and he got back to me saying hes in the military serving in Italy has financial problems and needs a quick sale. He said he'd pay delivery to the UK via Fedex (taking about 3 days) as he knows people working there that will give him a discount. (Did anyone else see this bike btw?)
Sounds fantastic but is he going to pull my pants down? Would i have to pay tax on the bike if it was brought over?
Anything else you think i should ask him?? Should i touch it with a bargepole??
Thanks a million

Scam scammety scam methinks.
Having said that, if he has a .mod.uk email address, I should think it's likely to be legitimate. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

it's a scam
no remote possibility of it being real ____________________ "There are some things nobody needs in this world, and a bright-red, hunch-back, warp-speed 900cc cafe racer is one of them - but I want one anyway, and on some days I actually believe I need one. That is why they are dangerous."

Say your family lives in Italy, can one of them come and see the bike and they will collect it themselves. He will squirm |
