Yesh, I bought these, for no other reason than I fancied them at the time . They're cool, they weigh a load more than the originals, but the fact they're curved in 2 axes makes them an absolute bastard to fit .
Oh well still more tarty than the originals . ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!

Ah Motrax Knee sliders. Just watch out for them splitting away from the backing like mine have. |

Titanium sliders are not full titanium. They're a plastic puck surrounded by titanium, which when it wears through causes the slider to grip inconsistently.
That's why I haven't bought Titanium sliders.
That and the fact that I'm not a knee down god.
The only thing I am as far as GMKD is concerned is not-a-knee-down-virgin . ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!

Performance Bikes recently conducted an interesting survey which showed that roller skates and balti dishes are also great knee down material. ____________________ Northern Irish? www.nibikers.com |

I took my teardrop sliders off my leathers cos they were really thick!
Everytime I stuck my knee out I was touching down sooner than I expected and either making myself jump and wobbling, or standing the bike upright again
They are o.k if you are still learning KD, but you will find them too big when you can do it consistently.
The WIZ sparky sliders are the best ones for pyrotechnics IMO cos they are plastic sliders with Ti bolts in them (about 8 or 9 I think) so they give off a nice spark, but don't grip like a Ti coated slider does. ____________________ You will become my force of retribution. Grr these sliders are too curved - I have skinny knee but fat armour, so that when I bend my knee half of the b*stard thing pulls itself off (My knee ).
I sense buying some velcro and a sewing machine coming to mind. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!
