Hi all

I just wanted to check - if pads are described as 'sintered', would this be the same as HH sintered or is that the next level up and would specify the HH.

Is there any issues running none HH on the rear calliper with HH's on the front callipers if so.

Cheers Thumbs Up

You shouldn't use HH in the rear usually a lower grade would be preferable.

Sintering is the process of fusing together certain particles using heat and pressure, it's how pads are made.

HH pads (made by sintering) have a higher friction rating and are designed to perform at higher temperatures than other compounds.

Just put cheap pads in the rear.

I use GG rated sintered pads on the rear discs for the R1 and Exup1000,but HH rated pads front and rear of the KTM enduro as they need to cut through any mud or water on the disc surface. That and I need to lock up the back brake easily on the enduro as it helps to get around corners quicker Wink

Also be aware that HH rated pads do tend to accelerate disc wear
