My Daughters Vespa (see pic) is in for it's MSVA test next week after we re-built it it on another bike's frame. Can anybody who has been through the MSVA / Q reg process help me withe a few questions - mostly about how long the whole process will take:

1) How long do DVLA normally take after the test to issue the Q-Registration document V5?

2) Does a Q-reg vehicle need an MOT aswell? The inspector I booked the MSVA test in with thought so. My guess is that as it's effectively a new vehicle in DVLA's eyes and they have done the MSVA test it wouldn't need one for 3 years.

Just trying to work out when we can get her back on the road - sick of driving her to the station:-)

Thanks.

Why not just use the existing plate or the plate off of the replacement frame?
