Didn't read terms before taking out a policy..
Moans about it at a later date on tthe internets...
It's amazing that people don't read through say insurance and contract phone contracts, but I'm sure these same people wouldn't think twice about going through say a mortgage or tenancy agreement, or an employment contract with a fine tooth comb...
The bottom line is, never assume when you are entering any form of contract, no matter how trivial the type of contract may seem, as you have found, you are under covered, it could have been much worse... ____________________ ......................................................................... |

I did read the terms that were available to me prior to purchasing the quotation. I also have started reading the terms available to me after purchase of the policy.
They provide far more T+C in you policy that they do available to download from the website prior to policy purchase. Thats why they legally have to have sensible cancellation fee(£32.00 i think).
Plus your a sad cunt and probably work for the DVLA and a volunteer as traffic warden in your spare time.

i am with mce... the reason i choose them was because they were the cheapest (apart from another insurer but the excess would of been 1500.. rather than 750 with mce) but reading what everyone has put.. it is now very clear why they are cheaper than the rest.. lets hope we will never have to make a claim! ____________________ CBT- 2012 Theory- 18/12/13 Mod 1- 07/01/14 Mod 2- 15/01/14

They're all a bunch of crucking fooks, which is why I will only pay for the bare minimum 3rd party indemnity required by law. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I'm on TPF&T.. I always go for the cheapest quotes. I would go for TPO if it was cheaper, but somehow all my TPF&T quotes were cheaper than TPO ones.
To insure ZX6R it cost £80 per year I didn't read most of the T&Cs. |

I was with MCE for three years (I think). 1st experience was a joke. After that it was a lot easier. Possibly personnel issues at MCE Mission Control.
There was no real issue after the first but any attempt to communicate with them via their email will result in zero response. It was always neccessary for me to call the idiots.
I lost it with them last renewal when I was looking for my proof of NCD. They got all stupid about sending me that until the policy expires.
The other fcukers I recently told to do one have T&C for renewal stating they will only issue Proof of NCD thirty days after a policy expires. This makes complication to renew with another broker. (Though most will call the last insurer for Proof of NCD.)
For some sad reason MCE premiums for me have shot through the roof so that was the main reason I dumped them.
BUT I HEARD HASTINGS ARE A REALLY NASTY OUTFIT TOO.
Just seen this

I was with MCE last year. Never had an issue, don't think I ever changed anything though.
With Premium Choice now, as said, they're all the same, just different colours. ____________________ My Flickr |
