hi advice urgently needed, the actual bit where it tells u my speed is playing up. most times it wil just sit at 0 and not move other times it wil flucuate between lots of different numbers. and some other times it can work fine work a number of miles.

any sugestions on what to check or anything

check sensor and wiring from front wheel and check that it is plugged in ok. Might be corrosion settling in and the contacts need a clean

speedo drive at the wheel sounds faulty, when replacing there are different types. Some will cause your speedo to read double and some will cause your speedo to read half speed make sure you get the correct one.

Had the same on my CBR600.

After dicking about with wiring etc, turned out the speed sensor was knackered. It worked fine upon replacement.

Definitely your speed sensor if it's just the speedo messing around. May need replacement.

My koso did this, was proper dodgy wiring connections into the unit. Had to replace the whole thing with a different setup.
