Reflector - £1
Horn, wire horn to battery and to new button on handlebar - £1 for switch and £1 for wire.
Fork, either get it fixed or buy a neoprene cover for each leg, lift the dust seal, pack with cotton wool and reseat. Fit covers over fork legs and cable tie on.
Solved. |

Perfect guys, thanks!
Wire a new switch -> Buy a push-bike reflector -> find something absorbent and bodge it under dust caps!

Are the forks pitted? If not, shove a piece stiff plastic or a feeler gauge down between the stanchion and the seal. Sorted my leaking fork out a treat, hat tip to stinkwheel. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I got 12 reflectors for 99p off ebay that sit in my tool box for the MOT's
I borrowed the horn from my other bike that has its own 9v battery so that was free.
I drained all the fluid from the fork before the MOT, no fluid no leak. So that was free as well.
You may well think your King Bodge the 3rd from Bodgeingham but i am way more pikey when it come to this shit. |
