Hello all,

I have received some black stomp grips for my gsxr. I keep reading about people getting air bubbles.

Will I be able to see air bubbles on the black one?

Also, any tips for the install?

Clean area as best you can. Apply it from one end, don't just stick it.

Just get them stuck on. I had ones cut in half on one of my old track bikes as they didn't make the correct ones at the time. They're function more than form.

Rubbing alcohol would be perfect. Brake cleaner would probably do it too.

Not sure whether it applys here but I always use a bit of fairy in water in a trigger spray. works with stickers and rim tape ect.

Just spray a fine mist on the area enough to wet it and then apply sticker. It gives you some scope to move the sticker around and squeegee out bubbles. Once the fairly solution dries the sticker sticks as normal or better.

Thumbs Up

Apply with a bit of heat. Hairdrier does the job nicely to make it more malleable. Removes the air bubbles. You can peel off and reapply with the safety of heat.
