Quick question.
Can I start tapping into my ignition wires for a switched voltage, or is this going to play havoc with the HISS?
Would I be better off taking it from the lighting circuit or something? ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140

Cheers, guys.
Probably should have explained what I was doing.
For all high draw stuff I normally use a relay switched by the lighting circuit.
However I'm fitting a voltage display (will hopefully warn me when my reg/reg inevitably dies), so was looking for a switched voltage with the smallest loss, this seems to be the ignition switch, which only drops about 0.2V, compared to the lighting circuit which drops about 0.5-0.7V. ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140

Ah ok, if it's one of These like I have on mine then they use an absolutely tiny amount of power, you should be able to bridge that into just about anything. |
