i WILL be riding in february as i WILL complete my CBT on my birthday. Anyway im going to need some gloves. I won't have a huge budget, probably £35. They need to protect my hands and keep them reasonably warm, doesn't really matter what they look like only that they come in black. Anybody got any recommendations?

Or shall it just be better to get some summer ones, i will then probably be able to spend more, £40, and then by some inner gloves. How well do the inner gloves work?

Thanks for any help.

Nick

You get various kinds of inner gloves. Some are windproof but I don't like them because they tend to have seams on them. I normally use cotton ones. Quite like magic gloves. They work ok.

I can recommend Akito Storm gloves. I got mine for £25 at the NEC, but they retail anywhere from £30-50. Gorgeous gloves, they've worked really well so far, the only day I was cold in them was when we were riding when there was snow still lying on the verges.

Possibly a bit high for your budget though. There are tonnes of good gloves around for less than £30.

I saw some good gloves up bikers world in birmingham, they were very warm and comfy and had carbon knuckles but i cant remember the name of the company who made them.
I'll have to go down and check for you lot.
