Looks like you had a good ride Thumbs Up

Shame about the puncture though, they do suck. Looks to big to have made a temp repair too! Sad

Riding at night and in the early hours when the roads are clear is great fun isn't it!

My pic posted full size. Grabbed from the video, obviously riding towards the sun (eventually) but you can clearly see the camera flash. It indeed flash at least half a dozen times.https://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t525/wotsthestory/SpeedCamera_zpsf6b125f5.jpeg~original

I was quite surprised it was plenty quick, even 2 up!!

I think the bandit would have been much faster if it had the binding brake tied off corners on that must have been sketchy.

Thanks guys Embarassed

Mine is a 900 I bought for £770 but, I've spent almost that again on a new rear shock, brake disks, brake calipers, brake master cylinder, chain + sprockets, rear tyre hugger, progressive springs...

It rides nicely but is very heavy and bounces around a bit. The best part of it is the engine that forgives all my mistakes - plenty of power to be had anywhere after 2.5k revs.

That said I've only ever ridden old, bad bikes. I'm worried if I ever had a go on a S1000rr or something I'd not love it as much.

Yeah, I pull up in the pitch black next to some shadowy figures and try not to drop the thing. First thing I hear: "is that a 4 cylinder or a twin? We've got a bet."

Seems fair... no one is allowed to ride the Trident, dat my wife.

But any fucker can have a go on the DRZ, she'll take all comers.

I want to have a go on an R6 or a 600RR first. Natural progression.

Found the R1 to be more forgiving than the CBR600RR, come and grab it, you know you want to Laughing We can trade the ER6 for the R1 for a week Wink

It just doesn't seem like a fair trade, for you that is. You'd be better off with the NTV, surely? More reliable for a start Thumbs Up
