3 in 1 PTFE lube.
I wrap a wee bit of rag around the tube and try to stick the tube in the cable ferrule then scoot some jiz down the cable. I think it works ____________________ W-ireless A-rtificial L-ifeform L-imited to O-bservation P-eacekeeping and E-fficient R-epair |

i use a single thumb screw version of that, it can be a bit leaky when doing the clutch cable, it would be nice to know if that version is less leaking on larger cables ____________________ Current rides - 2016 Triumph Street Triple Rx, 1994 Suzuki Bandit 400 VM, TGB 204 Classic 125cc

I think i may of actually gone for a single screw one and linked the wrong picture
Can't be bothered to go unlock the garage but i'm fairly sure i was worried the double one might be a bit long to squeeze in and get a good fit on the cable opening. |

GT85 is very good stuff.....and lasts for ages - I've still got the tin I bought about 8 years ago
Remember not to lube cables with a coated inner
How come nobody's suggested WD40 yet ____________________ Space Is Deep

Its a 2005 zx6.
Only just due lubing them, but out of interest what are the short/longterm affects if you fail to keep them lubed up |

Ah so theyre essentially maintenance free if lined? Or rather need different lubrication.
Always the small 'simple' things turn out to be intriguing |
