I did it a fair few years ago. Pretty much what Kwarkerz said... The event I went to had an IAM stall, RosPA stall etc. but nobody was pushy or anything. It's nice to get some good, honest feedback from someone who knows what they're talking about. So, go for it |

It's fun.
Not as good as proper advanced training but still worth to do it.
Especially for the price.
30 is 30 but 60 should be 60 as well.
I scratched my pegs at one bend (not that difficult on my nc700).
You also should overtake whenever it's save.
Well worth the money. The price is probably lower than an insurance discount a young rider in London get after completing the workshop. ____________________ MCForum meetup - One of the biggest motorcycle clubs in UK |

Yes very good. For the money, it's a no brainer. £25-35 quid ish, depending where you are and what promotions are on. It's a good day out riding, bit of class room work, lunch included and chance for good natter with the coppers. You also get a goodie back with a decent RoadCraft book (worth a tenner on its own) plus other bits and bobs like tyre pressure checkers, visor cleaners, ear plugs, etc.
Think of it as a stepping stone before undertaking an IAM or RoSPA course. Good for newbie's learning, good for experienced with a fed bad habits. End of the day, it's a chance for some critique and feedback on your riding, from some of the best riders out there. Go with an open mind, stick to the limits, learn the odd thing and generally enjoy it. ____________________ Beginner Biker Adventures Blog

Did mine last October. Well worth £35 for days worth of training with advanced police riders.
Our guy chose a decent route as well.
Although to this day, I still haven't received a copy of my report or certificate. |
