remote reservoir suspension

afternoon... I thought i'd have a look under my reservoirs thismorning to see if i could work out preload adjustment on them etc....

i've got valves under there, like on a tyre.. does air go in? or some sort of fluid? i pushed the pin and i got a little hiss for 1 second and that was it. so i presume theyre empty of whatever goes in them...

preload is on the spring tension.

That valve is for refilling the shock with nitrogen. It will be empty now if you let it out, and you'll need to take it to a specialist to have it refilled

Well if that's the case, it needed filling anyway. I literally touched it for a second. If i managed to empty it all in that time the pressure would have been incredible... It was lower pressure than a bicycle tyre valve.


Will go get it filled and adjusted etc...

There is very little volume in these reservoirs. That's why it emptied so quickly.

It might be possible that it's to do with preload adjustment, my NC23 has Schrader valves on top of the forks

been out for a wander. it doesn't feel any different to before. i'm down swansea on thursday, anyone know if M&P does nitrogen?
