"Bought" some textiles off AndyB1989. We talked about them in the chat room. Gave him my address 30th of April,

Payed on the 2nd of May. £150 + £8 for postage, by Paypal (Gift, because I'm a overly trusting spack, more on that later).

Job jobbed. Or not. Waited 11 days, added him on Facebook and got this:

I messaged his Boss on the 21st of june which I presume is why I managed to get a response from Andy on the 22nd, but other than that he's been avoiding contact. I have also been trying the mobile and home numbers I've got for him with no joy.

Now before anyone says it, I'm obviously an odious cunt for trusting him, paying as gift, being fobbed off etc etc. I've been way too leniant with him so far.

But fact of the matter is, he's sat on a not insubstantial sum of my money, and doesn't seem too bothered about sorting it out. I've got record of the record of payment from Paypal, but that's not really the dispute.

Obviously from the Paypal side of things I've not a leg to stand on with regard to getting the money, but there are other ways to sort this.

I find it utterly disgusting to be honest, it's terrible to see this happening. I have to ask what have we become as people that we can't even spell paid.

I know its a shit excuse but i genuinely keep forgetting to post them. I will get it done and i will Refund Tim aswell at the end of the month I am a twat but i will sort it and make it right.

I have spoken to tim on facebook this evening and ill get them sent out tomorrow i did not realise how long it had dragged on as i have been rushed off my feet.

As I've just said to Andy on facebook, if he manages to do as he says this time, that'll be the end of it.

FFS You lot are way too fast to start pointing the finger at people. The poor lad's sister-in-law's nan died recently and after-all it's only been like two and a half months since he said he'd sent the stuff.
Give the poor lad a break can't ya Wink

Edited to inject clarity as it seems that some people weren't able to recognise the sarcasm contained within my post.

Sorry, Mr teacher. I can't give you my homework because my dog ate it.

We all have lives and we are all living them. Things happen along the way. The best thing we can do is be as organised as possible.

I keep lists on my phone of things to do. I add to and remove from it every day. Its the only way i would ever remember to do half the stuff i need to do.

I see what you did there Laughing

Nothing wrong with being organised though. Doesn't change the person I am. Just means I don't watch the idiot box unless there is something on that I actually want to watch!

Rushed off your feet but still got time to post on BCF? You realise that you can actually get courier companies to collect from a chosen address (place of work for example) and they're usually a damn site cheap than RM.

You may have had some bereavements to cope with but come on, over 2 and half months and the poor guy is still waiting. That's not on. Thumbs Down Thumbs Down Thumbs Down

It's not hard to get anyone to go to the Royal Mail and post for you. A refund can be done in under a minute as Roger said.

I like Andy, nice lad from when I saw him on chat, but this delay is a bit of a flop.
