Hello,

Please have a look at the video. Any idea what might be wrong and how to fix it?

Cheers!

It looks like the starter clutch is doing the business as the clutch basket is spinning some of the time. I had a similar problem with my CB250N when it would just not fire. I tried everything including new starter motor. Battery seemed fine but when I stress tested it (gave it some load off the bike) the voltage quickly dropped to under 10V which is just not enough to fire it up (though was enough to spin the starter). Can you try a spare battery? If the battery is the cause then check the rectifier (I don't think your model has a regulator/rectifier, just a diode bridge on a heatsink) as if that is failing then the battery is being overcharged which will have caused the plates to buckle.

Incidentally, I always check with a larger, fully charged, battery as you then know it has plenty of power in it. Just balance it on something close enough to get the connections to reach.
