 |
|
One for the lady bikers...
My birthday is coming up and as its a big one (30 - eeep!) I'm angling for the cash for some Draggin Jeans. I've got my eye on the Minx or possibly Slix ones. Was wondering if anyone has tried these and what they thought of them in terms of comfort, fitting, quality, etc? I've read a couple of reviews which say they come up small but this might be just the Slix.
I hate ordering clothes when I can't try them on and this is a lot of pennies to fork out for something that might not fit!
Any advice muchly appreciated ____________________ Can sadly no longer be seen tearing up the road on my Honda Shadow 1100 ACE as she was stolen by thieving scum on 3/7/13.

Thanks for the info Waffles. Maybe it was just the Slix that came up small, but I prefer the bootcut look of the Minx anyway.
Vincent, sadly my local shops appear not to stock them, or at least the ladies ones. They don't cater that well for women or cruiser riders (never mind the two combined) and mainly stock pretty matching sets of leathers and the sort of things more suited to sports bikes, even though I'm sure there are sporty riders who would like to ride in jeans when it's hot! The only exception is the Harley dealership, who of course only stock their own stuff and I'd feel a right tit wearing Harley gear when I ride a suzuki lol
Just out of interest, are there any other female cruiser riders on here? It seems we're not a common breed! ____________________ Can sadly no longer be seen tearing up the road on my Honda Shadow 1100 ACE as she was stolen by thieving scum on 3/7/13.

From a bloke perspective my Draggin jeans are definitely a tighter fit than my Hoods or my normal jeans based on standard sizing. My OH has a pair of Draggins too and similarly, they're a snugger fit.
Female cruiser riders on BCF include Scorps and Yambabe IIRC. |

Oops, mine are "standard" fit.
TBH, I'm not that impressed with them, and would suggest that you look at Hood or Sartso instead.
Shereen was asking for phone relief from some Sartso Yank a while back, I believe we're still waiting to see if there was a happy ending to that. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
