It is nigh on impossible to find it... if it was an ex road legal one, speak to Bashan and ask what it was registered as.

Oddly enough its probably a stolen bike, as no one would dare race a 125 9hp off roader.

Why would a coppers son knowingly purchase a "road legal" bike with no documents, coppers should know better.

Move along chap Thumbs Up

I once met a 'bent' copper. No I don't mean gay. Besides that I also know plenty of corrupt people who have relatives in the Police Force. The fact you bought it off a coppers son is a shit defence IMO.

No the next comment will be that a serving Police officer has full access to DVLA's records and can get a number plate from a chassis No. so one has to wonder why he didn't in this case?

Because he knows fine well that it's never been registered and that to put it on the road now will likely mean an MSVA test and (without the Cert of Newness and Customs documents) a Q plate.

Did the paragon of verisimilitude that sold it to you assure you that it would be no trouble to get it on the road, mate, easy job, sold as seen sucka.

You done got played. The advice to flog it on is sound and for your benefit.

Maybe the coppers son that you "purchased it off" doesn't like you and is waiting for you to register it so his old man can come and nick you.
