Do you still have those wheels? I wouldn't mind some motard rims for my TTR. Sorry I can't help with the thread but it did pique my interest.
The tyres may be road orientated tyres in dirt bike sizes, like c_dug says. ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K

Plenty of options for road biased tyres in trail sizes.
I like the Sahara 3's which I'd describe as maybe 80% on-road/20% off-road.
You certainly need to be a bit braver off-road and in muddy stuff it's generally a case of letting the bike go where it wants (often including foliage) and hold on!
For the bridgestone, the BW501 and BW502 seems to be the current stickies trail-size tyre they offer. (Ah, they only do a 17 rear , you'd have to go for a 202 rear.) |

That's fair enough, I just thought it was worth a go.
I would like a spare set of wheels, one with some Pirelli scorpion MT90 on, like I had on my Varadero, the other set will have my AC10's. ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K
