Just curious as google didn't help too much, x11 has the 2 bolt holes for a chain guard but it dosen't have one attached...
I know the usual "safer innit" and such but wanted to know do you have to have a chain guard for its mot. ____________________ GOOD GAME BODYGUARD: https://i.imgur.com/8WePGgf.jpg

I believe so yes, based on this point:
The chain/belt must not have excessive slack and be in good condition, the guard must be secure and not fouling
However, you could read it as no guard = no problem. ____________________ My Flickr |

will be fitting some eventually but the design of the x11 i can't imagine the chain getting anywhere near me lol.
guess i have to fork out £25 for a guard... or £50 for one with "x11" cut out of it ____________________ GOOD GAME BODYGUARD: https://i.imgur.com/8WePGgf.jpg

I've not had a chain guard/hugger installed on the ZX9 since my blow out which destroyed the hugger two years ago.
No advisory on either MOT from both a Honda main stealer nor a local bike garage.
Rule of thumb of an MOT is, if its there it needs to be secure. If it's not it doesn't count ____________________ Gone: Haotian HT125-8 / Yamaha YZF 600R Thundercat / Kawasaki ZX9R C2
