If you've had an admission of liability from the other party's insurer, go ahead, it's got nothing at all to do with yours. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I have here a £35.45 invoice from eBike for cancellation even though they still owe me refund money from mid-term policy changes and also stated explicitly that the cost to cancel would be £0 when I did it online.
See where I'm going? Insurers, with the usual respect, cry "Marquis of Queensberry!" while kicking us in the nuts. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

This is eerily similar to what happened to me. Commuting home an oncoming car turned right (my left) to exit the road, and we had an intimate moment followed by a hospital visit.
Hope you didn't come off too badly and got away as lucky (or more) as I did, bruising and concussion.
Now I'm a tad lost about insurance, I have another bike (same model, same year) but what would be the best way to go about insuring it?
Tell insurers my numberplate has changed..
Get new insurance for current bike and cancel old policy..
I'm struggling to get in contact with insurers at the moment, as they're off for the weekend, but I could buy online. I understand I'm covered right now, as the seller had his insurance, and I had his permission to ride the bike (covered for riding other bikes.) So I'm legal, but what would be the best way to go about getting myself insured for the long run?
I was TPFT but I'd rather have FC if I can, though my policy runs until Feb '14. ____________________ Current: VFR800 2008 13.7k and rising rapidly!
