Spotted this up the Ponderosa yesterday. Proper confused me and had me thinking if BMW had released a new model but apparently it's a naked conversion kit from Germany. Radiator cap even came through the fairing. Renthal bars. And some proper trick bits when you looked up close. Must work well because his tyres were shredded to bits lol

Opinions?

Belly pan is too small and side fairing just loos like a broken piece of the stock fairing has been stuck on. Do prefer that headlight though, bet its awesome to ride.

I have to say that the front end is surprisingly well done. The GSR headlight looks spot on.

If you thought it could have been a new model, you know it's been done well. Looks good to me, prefer the faired version still though. Thumbs Up

Problem is the frame looks a bit cheap on the S1000RR. Also, there shouldn't be a side fairing or belly pan. This is a modern superbike streetfightered properly IMO:

I don't see the point in devaluing a bike created to be a stupidly fast sports bike.

Doeent look bad to be honest, each to their own and all that but itd look much better left alone in my opinion. A bit like buying a lion and painting tiger stripes on it - just buy a tiger Thinking

Very well done. Looks like all ruined sportsbikes from the factory, shit.

CB1000R is a modern example of how you do a naked.

It's not awful, but to me still looks like a repair job with a few bits missing. Shame, since BMW make plenty of naked bikes he could have pikey'd design cues from.

If he'd used the assymetric twin-style headlight BMW use stock on their naked bikes, it would have looked way more believable to me.

He might've bought it as a crash damaged machine and put it back together differently.

At least I hope that's what happened.

As long as he kept the original bits and didn't have to permanently modify anything it's all good, he can just put it back when he sells it.
I just hope that kit wasn't too expensive!
