Codine does the exact opposite. Its one of the side effects that taking codine in most people will induce constipation.

I had a slipped disc and they gave me four codine injections and I didn't shit for two weeks. I looked like a pot-bellied pig by the end of it. It wasn't pleasant.

As said, Codine makes you constipated, what you've done (again) Mark is fabricated another fucking story from lala land, you've then posted on BCF hoping that no one would notice you haven't researched your lie (as usual) very well

Mark, listen to these lyrics, and I mean really listen to these lyrics because you need to stop this misconception you have, these lyrics sums you up to a tee.

That is the problem with the standard British red Cuprinol fence, it's just boring, look at this guy here, now he is enjoying his fence painting because his fence isn't 0.5x4 and red.
https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/x/man-painting-fence-9380829.jpg

I mean look, he is still enjoying it here
https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/x/man-painting-fence-9450726.jpg

But that fence, being a picket style fence, it warrants a top quality paint job, I certainly wouldn't be happy with a "that'll do" creosote fence if mine was picket.

Matt, in a roundabout way I am glad you brought this fence discussion up, I like a good fence.

That's an interesting point Darek, now a wall with glass on top is a very good pikey deterrent and birds, but if you forget your keys and you need to climb that wall, but I suppose it is the price you pay for a pikey free life.

That said, the wall with glass is not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye

Have you considered painting a mural of a picket fence on it?

Why is this a obviously a fabricated story? Codine makes people constipated. He stops taking it. 3 days later has a shit. Possibly the dullest thread I've read, but quite likely surely. Unsure why we need to know, in fact quite sure I personally didnt need to know, but there it is. Yawn!

My fence is needing painted/treated but before I do that I need to remove a rotten post at one section and concrete in a new post.

What would be the best way to preserve this post?

What is the easiest way to remove the old post and concrete?

I think the codeine wore off, the cunt managed to remove the restraints and get to the computer in the nurse's office.

I hope the nurse is OK.

I'll probably use a preservative from the Cuprinol range of products.

More interesting than the day to day stuff from MCW that we don't need to know?

I have a wooden fence behind my house.

I also have an excess of used engine oil.

I like to kill two birds with one stone by preparing a mixture consisting of one part creosote to one part used engine oil and applying it to my outdoor woodwork.

As well as imparting a pleasing, dark brown/black colour, this mixture renders the wood totally impermeable to water and mould resistant.

In addition any residue dripping off inhibits the growth of plant life for a few inches either side of the fence which leads to a considerable saving in strimmer wire.

I believe that is what is known as an effective fence border barrier, understandable to stop weeds growing up a well preserved fence.

Now I have to admit I am partial to a dark coloured fence, I never really understood why people painted their fences red, I also find creosote a satisfying smell, it smells like you have actually done something

1198 I will have you know that fencing can be a big issue for some people, how would you feel if I painted my fence red? Or if I erected a new fence and made sure that I had the nicest side of the fence and you didn't? There is law about this stuff, don't just try and brush off a good fence.

Everybody knows that things that are red are fastest. Not sure how this tallies with your fence though.
I'm considering a couple of beers this evening while watching the TT program. Should I?

I've been on Codeine for about 3 months now with a long term back / leg injury.

I had to stop taking it for about a week in the middle and it did, as Mark states, open up a tap. I think because of the prolonged use the constipation had minimised and well, yeah, you get the picture.

Am I missing something? (Aside from the identity of the OP)

He's saying that he's come off the tablets and is now shitting. I.e. He's no longer constipated.

He's said they'd be great for festivals. I.e. They make you constipated.

He's not saying he took them and they made him shit.
