 |
|
I had a motad stainless system fitted a while back, but since then the bike hasn't been anywhere near as fast. It's lost about 15mph top-end (I could only get 140 the other day flat out), so I want to get this sorted somewhere.
Does anyone know how much a dyno / map sesh might cost, and where I can get it done? Looking for the cheapest place, willing to travel anywhere to get it done unless petrol costs are more than what I'd save going there ____________________ Left the forum. |

with re-mapping you get what you pay for,
pay fuck all and get a shit job then pay fuckall again and still have a shit job or pay more expensive place once and get it right? ____________________ was: derbi senda, aprilia sx125, nsr250 mc16, cagiva mito, cb600 hornet now: mk1 bandit, KR1S, landrover series 3 light weight 2.5 petrol, 5speed box |

theres meant to be a guy in preston that is meant to be pretty good, no personal experience, me and my dad use raceHQ in leeds. on my dad bonneville, i think he installed the PC5 (we supplied) then mapped it on the dyno. took him a couple of days to get it through. but the engine was high compression and bigbore aswell as cammed and various other bits altered. think it was about £120. My dad has no complaints.
he ran my bandit up on the dyno and it was spot on near enough just pointed us towards maybe richening the mains a little bit. ____________________ was: derbi senda, aprilia sx125, nsr250 mc16, cagiva mito, cb600 hornet now: mk1 bandit, KR1S, landrover series 3 light weight 2.5 petrol, 5speed box |
