The one I crashed on. Sad

EDIT: it was this one.
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl
someone was killed on it about 3 weeks ago, even the street view car looked like it was going to fall off the road.

On bike or walking?

I wouldn't worry about your up coming ban, walking around tight corners is far easier than riding them Thumbs Up

Though not you're when drunk Laughing

there are a couple around buxton really tight tight up hill u turns that are easy to drop a bike on and some almost as bad going down with the added benefit of loose gravel

The B8007 going towards the Ardnamurchan Point in west Scotland!
Pick a corner?, any corner they are all pretty scary!

Has to be one of the most treacherous roads I have ever ridden on Shocked

A left-hander going through Escrick on The A19. As I exited it I sighted a little piggy holding a speed gun in his trotter.
You can probably guess the rest Sad

There is one up in the far North East of Scotland (I forget exactly where) with a cattle grid halfway round it. The warning sign for it is at the end of the braking zone just as you start to turn-in.

A182 going from Shiney Row to the Galleries. The bend just past the bridge over the wear.

The road surface changes 9 times in about 1/4 mile. Not particular bad but it's always been a mental block for me for some reason.

Either Ramsey hairpin or Devils Elbow on the Kirk Michael coast road. Misjudge your speed going into either of them and you're in trouble (easy to do if you're not used to them.) Although, the consequences of messing up Devils Elbow are probably worse. As you have the potential to quite easily fall a long way down the cliffs and land on a load of jagged rocks into the Irish Sea. Hurt

I'm struggling to think one particular corner. I like/dislike those ever tightening sliproads you sometimes find. I've not been going fast enough for it to be a problem but when you're leaning right over doing just fine and enjoying the feeling of close tarmac and then you have to drop even lower..Hmm it's nice but it does quicken the heart.

Guess the corner I fell off at...Of course I've since made sure I can take it better and faster. Wink

This one is an old friend. Just passed my car test and got my first powerslide. Unlike this driver.

This situation is one to be aware of too.
Click the google map link then zoom out...You can still see that gravel from a good height. After rainfall or some heavy mountain bike/walker abuse the pieces of gravel can be quite large and scattered. It's a corner that you don't apex. Pretty sure it must have claimed a few fairings as it makes up a loop that includes the cat n fiddle road.

Going uphill on the hairpin at the Isle of Man, with traffic oncoming and hogging the middle lines was particularly scary for me.

This is one I really hate. Could be such a nice corner, but there are some massive potholes, and the fact, the buses leak oil all over it, doesn't help either.

Interesting posts.

Excluding that last one most of these appear to be confidence inspiring at first... very deceitful.

Good shares.

I have to say that my worst corner, is any containing filth at the other side.

A few corners like that on the A689 I think it is, on the way to Alston.

https://i.imgur.com/2aVpsFh.jpg

There's about 3 corners like that, my favourite bit of the road, even better than the Hartside pass Razz

Can't really remember a bad corner, any corner can be bad depending on the conditions really, personally I hate it when the road surface changes mid corner.

This one on my road. I was just getting used to it when I had to put the bike away for a bit. Doesn't look so menacing (especially next to cliffs of icey doom up there!) but it's so often covered in crap from the fields either side, on two occasions has had big lumps of rock from the quarry up the road on it, and it's also after a nice long straight. Meh, it makes for good avoidance practice.
