The one I crashed on.
EDIT: it was this one.

someone was killed on it about 3 weeks ago, even the street view car looked like it was going to fall off the road. ____________________ it is impossible to lick your own elbow...

On bike or walking?
I wouldn't worry about your up coming ban, walking around tight corners is far easier than riding them

Unless it's off camber, covered in drain covers, diesel, and lard it's not that bad. ____________________ My Flickr |

The B8007 going towards the Ardnamurchan Point in west Scotland!
Pick a corner?, any corner they are all pretty scary!

A left-hander going through Escrick on The A19. As I exited it I sighted a little piggy holding a speed gun in his trotter.
You can probably guess the rest ____________________ A good loser will always be a loser. |

There is one up in the far North East of Scotland (I forget exactly where) with a cattle grid halfway round it. The warning sign for it is at the end of the braking zone just as you start to turn-in. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. Either Ramsey hairpin or Devils Elbow on the Kirk Michael coast road. Misjudge your speed going into either of them and you're in trouble (easy to do if you're not used to them.) Although, the consequences of messing up Devils Elbow are probably worse. As you have the potential to quite easily fall a long way down the cliffs and land on a load of jagged rocks into the Irish Sea. |

Going uphill on the hairpin at the Isle of Man, with traffic oncoming and hogging the middle lines was particularly scary for me.

This is one I really hate. Could be such a nice corner, but there are some massive potholes, and the fact, the buses leak oil all over it, doesn't help either. |

A few corners like that on the A689 I think it is, on the way to Alston.

There's about 3 corners like that, my favourite bit of the road, even better than the Hartside pass
Can't really remember a bad corner, any corner can be bad depending on the conditions really, personally I hate it when the road surface changes mid corner. ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

This one on my road. I was just getting used to it when I had to put the bike away for a bit. Doesn't look so menacing (especially next to cliffs of icey doom up there!) but it's so often covered in crap from the fields either side, on two occasions has had big lumps of rock from the quarry up the road on it, and it's also after a nice long straight. Meh, it makes for good avoidance practice.
