I saw 3 ERF6es today, and they all sounded like wet farts. The first one I thought was broken, but then I saw two more making the same noise.

They were all in London, so at low speed. Is this the noise they're suppose to make??

Most Jap 180 degree twins sound about the same until you fit a silencer that doesn't silence then they all sound a helluvalot louder but just like every other 180 degree with a silencer that doesn't. Racing four-stroke singles, decent v-twins, triples, and tuned fours make the nicest sounds, IMHO.

They're notorious for the pipes splitting at the join with the silencer. Could be that?
