Motorcycle bead breaker?

Has anyone ever had or used one of these? They are about £40 so not too expensive, just wondering if they do a decent/easy job of removing tyres? Cheers.

Currently I'm using beta forums recommended method, blocks of wood and a spade. Works first time

I used to use a railway sleeper and my 18st mass to break the bead.

.....Till i bought a tyre machine that is!

I just use three G-clamps to break the bead, and three ratchet straps to fit the new tyre. Still pretty easy and quick, and I didn't have to shell out for yet more garage furniture.

I use a SDS drill, set to 'hammer only' action, with a wide chisel like the one below fitted.

Length of 4x4 timber, short wedge of 2 x 4 and a brick that juts out in my garage wall.

Never had an issue breaking a bead with it.

A spade, a brick, large wheelie bin, railway sleeper, SDS drill, G-clamps and running the tyre over with the car, love it when a thread goes all technical, and still understand what is going on.

i've done it a fair few times using a good piece of wood and a bench vice, those bead breakers look like there is a lot of physical input

I use a piece of 4x2 levered off something bolted to a wall to push a length of 2x2 down and break the bead.
I have thought about a dedicated bead breaker, but it'd just be another bit of kit to fit on a shelf somewhere (I'm running out of space) and I'm not convinced that it'd make the job any easier than the method I've already got.

After seeing this product and watching a video, I am wondering whether I could just buy a large G clamp off eBay and use that? Looks like a simple way of breaking the bead to me.
