How long would you be dead in your own home before someone found you?

I worked out I could be dead for about 4 days before they found my body.

I would be leaking under the door before they found me.

Never and I don't live on my own. I don't think I'd ever be found. My kids would step over my cold dead body to get to the fridge and not bat an eyelid. I was ill in bed once and had to ring them whenever I needed something. They didn't pick up!

Crying or Very sad

Never. Fairly certain my cat would eat my body before anyone came looking. Shifty git.

I reckon if I checked out on a Friday night, it might be Tuesday or Wednesday.

When I didn't turn up at work on Monday, the blokes wouldn't think too much of it, except to call me a country squire for not telling them I wasn't coming in.

On Tuesday morning they might persist with calls, by Wednesday they would swing by the house, see the cars were still there and maybe raise the alarm.

this would very much depend on who i was doing stuff for at the time, if i had some time off, maybe a couple of weeks. other wise next day would be when some one would realise something was amiss, but my body most likely wont be found until a week or 2 later if i died at home - out for a walk, well it may never be found

Years probably.

I have money in the bank and everything is via direct debit. With my death the bills would fall considerably meaning the money in the bank would last even longer.

As I also work as a temp/cover my employers would simply think I was unreliable and hire one of the many others on their books.

1/2 hour max, but I like to think the whisky would preserve my corpse should the wife go away for the weekend or something.

I'd most likely be discovered in less than 8 hours, so just about as long as it takes for rigor mortis to set in properly. I shall endeavour to die in a really inconvenient-to-move position, preferably somewhere out of reach.

I was working a flat once and they only reason they knew the lady in the flat had died was when she started seeping through the floor, then the ceiling in the flat below.
Properly stinks as well.
