i pressume that you need to find out if its the indicators that have stopped working or that there is no current flowing to them. you can do this using a voltmetre, i think . ____________________ [Italjet MM5A] ll [Rieju RS1 Evolution] ll [Suzuki GS500e] ll [Suzuki GSX600F] ll [Honda CG125] ll [Pug Elyseo 125] ll [Yamaha YZF750R] ll [Yamaha Thunderace] ll [Yamaha R6] ll [Triumph 955i] ll [Hayabusa RZK3] ll [Suzuki RGV250] ll |

Did all of them stop at once? If they did its very unlikely to be the bulbs. Could be, in order of likelyhood:
- Nackered switch
- Bad earth somewhere
- Dead flasher unit
Check using a multi-meter. A wiring diagram is also very useful. If you dont have a multi-meter, both conductivity and voltage checks can be done very basicly. To check conductivity you need a 9V battery, 3 bits of wire and a bulb. connect them up in a circuit with the bit you are testing in series. If the bulb lights then its connected, if it doesnt, it isnt. Voltages are similar but without the battery as the power is from the bike, make sure you use a 12V bulb though.
These tests are VERY basic and give you no idea of what resistances or voltages actually are, but at least gives you an idea. Also multi-meters can be picked up for £5 from maplin and they are well worth the money. ____________________ I love the girls that do, I hate the girls that dont, I hate the girls who say they will and then they say they wont, but the girl I like most of all and I think youll say Im right, is the girl who says she never has but looks as though she might. - Max Bygraves |

I've got it now so that the lights come on when you flick the indicator switch over, but they dont flash. Could it just be that my new flasher unit I got isn't compatible or is it something else?
