 |

Hi all,
My chain snapped on the pentonville road this evening, by the time the flatbed arrived (2 hours later) the best option was to have it and me taken home.
I need to get it transported from west london to east where my chain and sprocket set awaits, anyone know if they would transport the bike again for the same reason or would i have to tell porkie pies?

RAC's T&C's: State they do not cover "A second assistance if the original fault has not been properly repaired by a third party or if We
have advised You that it is a temporary repair."

Also, they won't attend a call out within a few hundred metres of your house, unless you have the home-start option. So, you would probably have to push it pretty far down road before you call them...
Now, how do they know it's the same chain that snapped? You just put on a spare chain you had right, been riding around fine this last couple of days. But it seems like you spare is bit duff too... ____________________ Beginner Biker Adventures Blog

remove/cut the live ignition feed to your CDI somewhere deep in the loom. your bike won't run and they won't be able to fix it.
There will be no other damage, but they'll transport it |

His split link that he used to fix the chain has now broken as the bike had too much power... |

1) You should have you biker status revoked until repairs are completed. (You're not a biker when on the bus/train.)
2) Y no chain maintenance?

I still have my C90, which i rode to work today
And yes, epic chain maintenance failure. ____________________ [Current Bikes - GSXR-750 K5 & C90-97 ] [Previous Bikes: Runner 125, YBR 125, GS500, Bandit 600, Hornet 600, ZX6R-99, C90-99, R1-99, XT600E-04, GSXR-750 K4, CRF250L '16] |

Personally I wouldn't risk calling out RAC so close, the only reason I'm saying this is you only get 3 pick ups a year. If you go over that then you have to pay for more. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS
