Swap cables from the one that does not work, that should sort that out. LEDs won't work both ways, I mean +- /-+. You've got to have it right.
But, I'm quite clueless about the all three (four) working at the same time. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

If your bike has One indicator follower light not separate ones for left and right indicators You will have to do a lot of mods to it to make the indicators work with LED units
Disconnect both wires connect both feeds to the light
reconnect to one side each via it own Diode 1Amp 50volt will do
connect the other side to -ve ie bike's earth
Try again if a unit doesn't work swap the wires around LED only work one way around unlike bulbs

Do you have a 'tell-tale' lamp in the speedo that flashes when the indicators are on?
The thing is that if you only have one tell-tale to say when either indy is on, rather than one for each direction; then the chances are that its a 'balenced circuit'... the 'tell-tale' connected between the two circuits for left and right indicators, so when you put 12v on the Left indy circuit, you get 12v at one side of the tell-tale bulb, and it 'earths' through the right hand circuit, relying on the 21W indy bulbs in the side not switched on, to have enough resistance in them that they dont light up from the current going through them.
Of course... having fitted LED inicators, that now draw mA, the tell-tale is probably sucking more amps than they are, and the LED indies WILL light up from the few mA thats left over after volts have gone through the tell-tale in between the two circuits.
Pull the tell-tale out the speedo, pop the bulb out and try again; see if both circuits flash independently.
If they do; then you will either have to go without indy tell-tale... its not actually required for MOT provided you can see the front indicators from saddle.... OR you will need to wire in a diode-bridge and earth to the tell tale lamp, so that it gets volts via a one way diode from either left or right indy circuit, that cant 'back-flow' through the 'off' side, and then earths directly.
If you use the forum search function; somewhere there is a How2 to do this I wrote a few years back, with scematics and probably e-bay links for the penny components you'll need.

Heres a quick and dirty pic I put on my photobucket account
soem time ago for a guy elsewhere
who fitted led lamps and had single tell tale
light with similar problems to you
If you want to use an led instead of the original bulb,
you'll need to get the polarity right and use a
current limiting resistor in series.
I always find a 1K is ample for idiot light/tell tale purposes
and thats what I use on all the panel/idiot light leds on my bike and they're plenty bright enough.
those diodes are just some chunky ones I had on my desk
at the time.
Something like a couple of 1N4001 will do, dirt cheap orf the bay.
Maplins will want about 50p each for them

Jamie, this is a typical wiring issue. A simple way to get around such a problem once you come across it is to simply plug out the LED which isn’t working and swap it with a LED that you know worked previously and check if it works. In most situations, none of them would work and that would confirm the wiring issue. If it works, then it’s simple, you just go on replacing the faulty LED. The common issue with most wirings is the reversal of power and ground pins or improper connections. Please check them out. ____________________ pcb price
