So I've got a 2011 er6f had it about 2 months.

Serviced before I got It and had 3500 miles on the clock.

The next service is due at 7500, is this right?

Also what maintainance should I be doing myself? I'm putting the muc off chain lube on every couple of weeks and have been giving it a spray of gt85 every week or so.

Is there anything else I should/could be doing? When should I change the oil etc do I wait for the service or do it before hand?

Cheers

Might be stating the obvious, but do you have a manual?

I have a 2009 (same model as yours), so I can probably scan the relevant pages if you need, but you'll be better with an original manual if you've got one.

A weekly check would be a good start

Tyre pressures tread depth check and all around check for damage and For nails screws etc

Check oil level and coolant levels

Lubricate chain and check tension

Check ALL light work correctly

this is very basic

I change the oil on my 125s every 1000 miles, bigger bikes would probably get 2000>3000 before a change.

List as above really, check tyres, tyre pressures, brake pads, fork seals, chain tension.

That's when it's next due in so that figures.

I've been doing all what's listed above really just didn't know if there was anything else.

Looks like I just need to keep doing what I'm doing.

Just out if interest what's the cost if the 7.5 k service. I know it will obvious differ but whats the ball park figure?
